You got into engineering.
Which branch actually fits you?

JEE rank, cutoffs and college prestige determine which branch most students end up in. This assessment determines which branch you should actually be in — based on your aptitude, personality and career goals.

Most students spend 4 years in a branch chosen by rank — not by fit. Branch switching is nearly impossible after year one. The right information before admission changes everything.

See which branch maps to which career outcomes

Your assessment maps your aptitude and interests to these branches — and tells you where you're naturally suited vs. where you'd be fighting uphill.

★★★★★

My JEE rank would have gotten me into ECE at a decent college. The assessment showed my aptitude was much higher for CS than ECE — and that's what I chose. Four years later, placed at a product company. That decision mattered.

Varun Subramaniam
B.Tech CSE, Placed at Product Company
★★★★★

Everyone in my family pushed for Mechanical because they thought it was "core" engineering. The assessment showed my spatial reasoning was average but logical reasoning was in the top band. CS was the right call. I was the right call.

Ananya Krishnan
B.Tech CSE, Software Engineer
★★★★★

I was torn between Civil and Electrical. The report showed Electrical aligned much better with my aptitude profile, and more specifically with the type of work I wanted to do. Now in renewable energy — exactly where the report pointed.

Dhruv Nair
B.Tech EE, Renewable Energy Sector

Common questions from engineering aspirants

When should I take this assessment?
Ideally before JEE counselling rounds — so you have branch suitability data when making your preference list. However, it's also useful for students already in Year 1 who are considering a branch change or want clarity on which career paths to pursue from their current branch.
Is this only for IIT/NIT aspirants?
No. The assessment is relevant for any engineering admission — state boards, private colleges, BITS, VIT, and tier-2/tier-3 institutions. Branch fit matters regardless of college tier.
What if my JEE rank doesn't give me my assessed top branch?
This is a common scenario. In the counselling session, we work through what to do in this case — whether to take a lower-ranked college with the right branch, or the higher-ranked college with a less-aligned branch, and what the career implications of each path are.
How different is this from a general aptitude test?
General aptitude tests give you a score. This assessment maps your scores specifically to engineering branch requirements — each branch demands different aptitude profiles, and the report tells you where your profile overlaps with each branch's requirements and the career outcomes from each.
Can this be taken by Class 11-12 students before JEE?
Yes, and this is the ideal time. Taking it in Class 11 or early Class 12 gives you clarity on which branch to target — which can shape how you prepare for JEE (especially in Physics vs Chemistry emphasis for different branches).
